Supercritical CO2 cleaning machines

All designed to adapt to the different production rates encountered, increasing the number of autoclaves.
Their capacity and their cleaning and decontamination conditions, as well as the number of autoclaves, are adapted to the needs of each industry and are subject to specific specifications.
The size of the machines and the cleaning chamber can vary depending on the production rate and the size of the parts.

Machine ranges dedicated to each application

DFD-MD range dedicated to the medical industry

Equipped with 1 to 4 autoclaves with a capacity of 4L, 6L, 13L, 20L or 30L, these machines are designed for the cleaning and decontamination in clean rooms of any medical device and any part requiring extreme cleanliness.
One machine body can operate between 1 and 4 autoclaves. The machine body can be located in an area outside the cleanroom.
If necessary, the cleaning chamber is equipped with a stirring system and ultrasounds.

A single CO2 treatment can replace several washing operations with detergents and/or Soxhlet ether or other organic solvents. Washing time is divided by 10 and operating costs are divided by 4.

The reduction of the bioburden allows to reduce the final sterilization time by one of the processes currently approved by the health authorities.

Dense Fluid Degreasing is the first manufacturer in the world to have designed supercritical CO2 through-the-wall machines for cleanroom.

This model with a capacity of 6L through-the-wall of the clean room allows a loading of dirty or contaminated medical devices on the grey room side and an unloading of cleaned and decontaminated medical devices in the clean room. Thanks to the Dense Fluid Degreasing process using supercritical CO2, the MDs are pre-sterilized.

DFD-TX range for the textile industry

The Dense Fluid Degreasing TX machine range is suitable for a maximum width of 3 metres and a maximum reel diameter of 40 cm. The cleaning process can be used to degrease all types of textiles (medical and non-medical) in reel or bulk form.
Dense Fluid Degerasing machines are equipped with an agitation system for the processing of bulk textiles.

The technology used eliminates all water consumption and all discharge of polluted aqueous effluents.

DFD-MC range for the mechanical industry

Equipped with cleaning chambers with a capacity ranging from 4L to 105L, our machines are optimized for mechanical parts.
The cleaning process allows the exterior and interior of any type of part to be degreased and departiculated, especially complex parts with blind holes, pipes, etc.
The Dense Fluid Degerasing machines are equipped with a basket stirring system with oscillations or rotations. In case of specific needs, the cleaning chambers can be equipped with ultrasonic devices.

The machines of the MC range can be compact or with a machine body distant from the cleaning chambers. 1 to 4 autoclaves can be operated by one machine body, depending on the production rate and volume of the parts to be processed.

Baskets

The baskets positioned inside the chamber are adapted to the geometry of the parts to be cleaned.
Standard baskets can be used in Dense Fluid Degreasing machines. Tailor-made baskets adapted to the type of parts can also be offered.

Partnership with the CO2 snow micro-blasting specialist

Dense Fluid Degreasing works in partnership with ACP Advanced Clean Production GmbH on specific CO2snow cleaning solutions .
Its cleaning systems use liquid CO2 projected under pressure by one or more nozzles and jacketed by compressed air. The combination of mechanical, thermal and chemical properties allow CO2 snow to loosen and remove a variety of surface contaminants without damage to the part being treated.

Developed at the Fraunhofer IPA in Stuttgart, Germany, the pulse-sublimation technique is the most efficient process for CO2 snow cleaning worldwide to date.

CO2 snow is a continuous process operated at atmospheric pressure and is suitable for part-to-part cleaning.

Dense Fluid Degreasing represents ACP Advanced Clean Production in France and has a demonstration Jet Worker machine.
