Modular cleaning machines

The machine was designed to adapt to the different production cadences, by increasing the number of batch cleaning vessels.

Its capacity, the cleaning conditions and time, the number of cleaning vessels are adapted to every manufacturer's needs and conform to the specifications.
Sizing and capacity of machines can vary according to production pace or parts’ dimensions.

Machine with a capacity of the cleaning vessel : 4 liters
Ideal for micro-parts, in between operation or at the end of the production cycle.


Machine of a capacity of the cleaning vessel : 83 liters, ie. 2 baskets of parts.

The loading of baskets in the cleaning vessel can be manual, automated or robotized.

The machine can be mono or multi-vessels; and the vessel can be mono or multi- baskets.
The time for a supercritical carbon dioxide cleaning cycle is not specified: it can vary according to the load, the nature of parts of the type and amount/degree of dirt to be cleaned.

The cycle is composed of 3 steps:

  • A filling time for (pressure and temperature increase)
  • A cleaning time, adapted to the loading and the pollutants
  • A depressurized time.

The duration of each step depends on numerous criteria as the application, the machine technical dimensioning (pump size, pipes size...), on the legal noise and the fragility of parts.Ask us

Actually, the most important is the clean parts exit cadence. The machine dimensioning and the presence of several cleaning vessels will enable to get the parts back at the convenient cadence. A personalized and precise estimation of costs will be worked out with you by DFD.

A constantly evolving process with the INNOV'R program

In order to keep improving the cleaning performances and conditions for very complex parts or dirt, DFD is studying the addition of surfactants to the supercritical CO2, a research program is in process with the SEPPIC Company.
